The first ARMOUR Conflict Resolution Lab was launched on the 30th January 2020 in Bucharest, Romania. The laboratory, hosted by “Mihai Viteazul” National Intelligence Academy, was attended by 16 practitioners from various fields of interests such as teachers, youth workers, social services, specialist professionals working with youth as psychologists, law enforcement agencies and security professionals who tested, learned and experimented conflict resolution techniques.

The techniques were received with enthusiasm and practitioners agreed upon the fact that teaching adolescents to apply constructive conflict resolution techniques provides them the necessary toolkit in order to develop healthy conflict styles, thereby facilitating the bonding that is essential to the development of resilience to radicalization, social polarization, violent extremism and violent narratives.
